White & Chrome Mid Century Modern Vintage Ball Shape Ceiling Lamp Light Fixture

This is a stunning mid century modern futuristic vintage pendant ceiling light, in white enamelled metal with a striking wide mirror chrome band on the lower half. Its probably a Scandinavian design but I found it here in France.

There's no identifying marks to indicate a maker but it is clearly a quality piece. It would look great in any well designed mid century or modern home. It would look superb in many rooms; kitchen, living room, bathroom, office or bedroom. A wonderful gift for a special person and possibly the ideal prop for a period production. The top of the ball has several evenly spaced holes to scatter the light upwards.

It comes complete with the original wiring and plastic ceiling cup. In EXCELLENT vintage condition, with only the most minor signs of age and past use, though you can tell it has age by the fittings and wiring. As you see its in full working order. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident DIYer to fix it in your desired location, it will be up to them to get it working there.

You should have it professionally tested after it is in place. It is designed to be used with a European 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like USA for example) it might need a simple rewire, please check with your fitter.
