Vtg Large Emerald Green Capiz Shell 3-Tier Hanging Lamp Chandelier Mid Century

Vintage emerald green three-tier capiz shell hanging lamp, more than six feet tall. Reminiscent of Verner Panton's design. The cascading capiz shell discs are mounted on a wooden ceiling plate by clear nylon thread. An electric cord runs down the middle of the fixture, and each of the three clusters of shells has its respective standard bulb socket. Capiz shells are each 2 in dia.

Wooden base is 18 wide with a loop for hanging. Could be flush mounted to ceiling, I think.

This was brought back from the Philippines by a service member. Comes from a non-smoking home.
