Vtg 1960s Lucite/string Red Hanging Lamp ATOMIC MCM Light Fixture (2 available)

Vintage 1960s/1970s Mid Century Modern. You rarely see these in color like this with the ruby red vertical curved panels around the in side... Really sets these apart from the typical all clear or smoked ones. Circa 1960s/70s original lucite and nylon hanging lamp. The socket is ceramic with aluminum or stainless cylinder and shade holder.

Has its original mod light bulb which works. Measures about 17" high overall by approx 16" high.

The extension measures 15 feet long and the chain measures 12 feet long. There are 2 wheel switches... One higher than the other on each extension. So you could decided to turn it on/off up high or closer to the floor depending on how you hung the swag. Condition is excellent with no cracks, no chips, no stains, no warps.

The chain is metal and for some reason the chain on one is excellent and the other chain has an issue with the chrome finish (surface corrosion on the links). I have to mention the bulbs here because Ive never seen this shape before. Goes so well with the design.

They are original and are stamped "Finland". I believe they are at least 60 watt.... Maybe 75 because they seem bright. Im not usually that excited by light bulbs but these really have the look and i believe they have some value in and of themselves.

I do not know who designed these but the quaility would lead me to believe they could possibly be Paul Secon for Sompex... They are not marked anywhere.
