Vintage Venetian Blown Glass Hanging Pendant Lamp, Amber Glass with Gold Frame

Up for sale is a beautiful Venetian style blown glass hanging pendant/swag lamp, finished in gold filigree with a light amber/slightly olive colored glass. In the direct sunlight it's stunning. I didn't see any makers marks but it's a pretty common style of lamp that was imported from Italy in the 60s and 70s. This one was mostly complete when found but it was missing some of the little accents so I replaced them.

The standoffs that secure the double pointed twist bars have all been recut with 1/4 diameter pipe and all of the brass balls were replaced. The small pieces of pipe were sprayed with some gold paint and the repairs have blended in nicely.

It's not currently wired for a bulb but I can't physically insert my hand into the lamp to install one. Any lamp shop can have it fixed pretty quickly and for very little. It's also going to need some brass chain but how much is up to you.

Each end has some decorative brass leaves and the bottom half can be removed by unscrewing 2 hidden screws on the bottom edge. Quite often, you'll see these with the glass completely broken out of these but this one is intact. It's actually blown into the lamp after assembly so it's permanent.

You can see how the glass is sticking above the metal filigree. There is a small crack that hasn't complete run from edge to edge so the glass is still intact. I don't know how to stabilize it but it shouldn't get any bigger. From end to end, it measures 24 long so it's a decently large sized fixture.
