Vintage Teak Brass Glass Mid Century Modern 3 Light Chandelier. Iconic Mid Century Modern ceiling light fixture made in the former Yugoslavia. Brass finished metal, White finished metal, and Teak wood accents, with pleated glass shades. Reminds me of something that could have been over a dining table on the set of the Dick Van Dyke show.

Structurally sound, sturdy and functional - ready to put in place. Heavy duty copper wiring - red, black, and green (for ground) make wiring into an electrical box a breeze.

Of course, you'll need to be handy or have a qualified electrician to hang it. Overall height - 31 ½ inches. Glass globes - 8 ¼ inches tall, 5 ¼ inches diameter. The central wood spreader has Yugoslavia impressed into the wood on the top where it is not visible when hanging.

Yugoslavia in the mid 20th century was the only Eastern European country that broke away from Soviet control. The USA maintained strong economic ties with Yugoslavia in the 1950s. Those ties reversed during Titos authoritarian regime in the 1960s, and the country started to break apart after Titos death in1980.
