Vintage Merry Mushroom 6-Sided Glass Hanging Pendant Lamp. Just in time for Christmas!

This lamp is EXTREMELY rare! I have done extensive searching and I have not seen another lamp (6-sided pendant) like it anywhere. This could possibly be the "Holy Grail" of the Merry Mushroom collectables! This lamp was working when I took it down not too long ago.

I have cleaned and polished it carefully. I tried to clean that one up, but the artwork on the glass was in rough condition and it disintegrated.

So I was VERY careful cleaning this lamp as to not destroy the artwork. This lamp is large, around 20" across the long way, and the overall height is around 15" of just the lamp, not including chain. It ships in a box 24" x 24" x 9 tall. It comes mostly dis-assembled with pieces carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. I have plenty of pictures to help you put this together correctly.

No tools are needed, other than maybe a pair of regular pliers, to put this together. I find no flaws in the artwork anywhere! The brown enamel is not perfect, but it is all there.

You can see (2) drops of white ceiling paint on the top surface, and a small one on one of the verticals. I did not try to remove them for fear of damaging the enamel. I have realized after cleaning it that this is a 3-way lamp, with it being (1) bulb only, (3) bulbs, all (4) bulbs, or off. HOWEVER, the extensions to the 3-way switch are missing, as is the knob.

Therefore I have it set for all (4) bulbs to be on. But it is working fine like it is, and has for years, decades. Personally, I would leave it like it is. Just trying to be up front, hiding nothing. The wiring is all original cloth wrapped wire.

I highly recommend that an electrician install this lamp unless you are proficient in home wiring, as this gets hard wired directly into a lighting box in the ceiling. I did mark the neutral wire.

THIS LAMP DOES NOT PLUG INTO A WALL OUTLET! The chain could be replaced with a longer one and you could get about 8 more drop. 60 watt Incandescent bulbs MAXIMUM, but I highly recommend using the new LED bulbs.
