Vintage Mid Century Modern MCM Lucite String Sphere Hanging Lamp

This vintage used light was tested for illuminating when switched on. The fixture shows wear from use including discoloration and pitting to the chrome socket, and two of the notches on the smoke colored plastic sides are broken off and missing, as shown in the photos. The lamp cord has a plastic coating over the standard wire which is cracking off and missing in areas. Note: the large white round light bulb is not included with this sale. The light fixture is not marked.

The smoke colored pieces are made of plastic and the string appears to be a plastic line. To avoid missing details in writing, plenty of photos are included so purchasers can verify items themselves.
