Pole switch comes directly out of the bottom of the bulb/shade. There is a few chips in the glass on the neck of the shade bulb where the Bold meets the fixture. However this is entirely covered by the fixture so it's not seeing it at all when hanging. It is also in no damage of getting any worse.
