Vintage MCM Hanging Ceiling Light Louis Paulsen 1966 Original PH 4/3 Pendant

MCM Vintage Hanging Ceiling Lamp Light in good condition and form and shape. It includes the central orange bulb cover which is often missing with theses vintage PH lamps.

The cord is only around 11 long so if you need it to hang much lower you will have to extend or replace the cord. Also note the scuff mark on top shade.

3-shade family originally conceived in the winter of 1925-26 for a large exhibition hall in Copenhagen, Denmark called "Forum" and is based on the principle of a reflecting multi-shade system, creating a harmonious and glare-free illumination. The shades are drawn over a logarithmic spiral, with the center of the light source placed in the spiral's focal point. The PH 4/3 Pendant provides a primarily downward illumination.

Louis Poulsen's PH 4/3 was originally designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925-26. Launched in 1966, the PH 4/3 pendant features layered shades, an anti-glare disc and pure white surface, providing smooth and pleasant light with no glare. The appearance of the PH 4/3 pendant is calm, smooth, and geometrically clean, and the 40 cm wide shade offers ample and soft light for example in the living room, bedroom and above the dining table. I have wiped down the marks on top of light with a "magic eraser" after a question about this and it cleaned up beautifully. I have added a fresh picture to show this.
