Vintage MCM Adjustable LAUREL Saucer UFO Wall Swag Pendant Hang Lamp Gio Ponti

Unusual vintage MCM adjustable LAUREL Saucer UFO Wall Swag Pendant Hang Lamp in the style of Gio Ponti. Have not seen another in this style. All original components in off gold/yellow color to head, swivel mount and counter weight. 12 foot cloth covered cord and vinyl plug are also original.

Head has light scratches, two areas of edge paint loss and wear to cord feed area (pics) but is glossy and displays very nicely. No chips, cracks or toning to plastic diffuser. Labled inside with single digit zip code dating to early-mid 50's. Swivel mount has very minimal wear - looks great.

Counter weight has some paint loss on bottom from wall contact over the decades. Adjustable metal hang tube telescopes up to 18 from wall. Cord cloth has some toning but remains pliant. Socket and switch work great. Not sure if this had an adjustable cord stop feature under counter weight.
