Vintage 1970s Green Grape Faux Stained Glass Hanging Lamp. Beautiful vintage hanging/swag lamp featuring a striking deep green and teal grapevine/botanical design with gold/brass-tone decorative detailing. This is a particularly cool example of the vintage faux stained-glass lighting that was popular in the 1960s-1970s. The decorative panels are molded/translucent plastic rather than glass, giving the fixture its stained-glass appearance while keeping it considerably lighter.
Believed to date to approximately the 1970s. Vintage faux stained-glass / Tiffany-style design. Grape, grapevine and botanical motif. Deep emerald green and teal coloration.
Original-style hanging chain and hardware. Includes the unusual vintage-style floral decorative globe bulb shown in the photographs. Approximately 12 tall for the shade/fixture, excluding hanging chain. Good vintage condition with normal age-related wear, patina and surface wear to the metal finish. The plastic panels appear intact with no obvious major breaks. Please examine all photographs carefully, as the photographs are part of the condition description. Electrical operation has not been tested. I have not disassembled or refinished the fixture.
This is not an antique Tiffany Studios lamp and is not genuine leaded stained glass. It is a vintage Tiffany-style/faux stained-glass fixture constructed with molded plastic panels.
The plastic construction is part of what makes this an interesting example of vintage 1960s-70s decorative lighting.
