VINTAGE 1960s DANISH MODERN HANGING LIGHT FIXTURE Lamp Ceiling Mod Chandelier
VINTAGE 1960s DANISH MODERN HANGING LIGHT FIXTURE. Add some retro flair to your kitchen, dining room or other location with this vintage hanging light fixture. The shade is made of beige plastic with ten cutout triangles around the top. A white cone housing the outlet sits in the middle of the shade, and is fastened with three screw pins.
The light fixture was originally for sale in a furniture store approximately 1964, then it was put in storage after a move to a new location in 1966. The fixture was found packed away with some other items a couple of years ago. The fixture has a single light socket that fits a 40-watt appliance bulb, and it is turned on and off with a short brass pull chain.
The cord runs through a golden metal hollowed tube at the top with a bend in each end, approximately 23.5 long end to end. The fixture was working when it was packed away, but it is not known whether the fixture currently works. Regardless, as the plug has two prongs (not grounded) and due to the age, we would strongly suggest having the fixture rewired for safety.
