VERY RARE Vintage BIG 36"x 14" Oil Rain Hanging Lamp W/boy & girl on swing. Very Rare, Vintage Oil-Creators Hanging Oil Rain Lamp with a boy and girl on a working swing. This model was introduced in 1978 by Creators Inc of Chicago, Illinois & still has the original sticker.
This lamp is sometimes called the "Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher" on a swing lamp. 36 inches in height-14 inches around-Suspends from a brass link chain 12 feet in length.
The off/on switch, (thumb wheel style) is located on the electrical cord. Lamp cord is original and in great condition.
When the lamp is turned on the swing goes into motion back and forth and the oil flows down the lines, in rain like droplets. The swing with the kids measures approximately 8 inches in length.This piece has been taken apart & meticulously cleaned. It is in amazing condition! Reassembly of top & bottom consist of 4 screws, very simple to put together & take apart.
