Vintage 1960s MCM Hollywood REGENCY Glass PINEAPPLE Hanging SWAG Light w/DANGLES. Here is a beautiful looking majestic swag light that needs to find a new home. Its a georgeous glorious stately stunning crystal chandelier type swag light here in the Hollywood Regency style, its also HUGE and very HEAVY!! This is an earlier piece, 1960s for sure and complete with its original two-piece crystal dangles, 4 located on the top and 4 on the bottom - simply elegant. Please MAKE SURE you have a sturdy place to hang this, I would not trust your typical ceiling drywall toggle bolt without attaching direct to a joist, its just too heavy plus you will need a very high ceiling for it to hang properly. The heavy thick molded clear glass shade has rows of different size raised diamond thumbprint bullseye designs which makes it look faceted and shimmery when lit up - a real stunner. The ornate top and bottom pieces are a heavy non magnetic cast metal with an antique gold finish, do not look like pot metal castings as these are a higher quality and are probably a brass alloy. Marked EF - EF INDUSTRIES, INC. Inside the top and bottom metal end pieces, this Company was known for producing higher end swag type lighting back in the late 1960s and 1970s. Glass globe is in nice original condition, no cracks, chips, or other damage.

Also complete with the hard to find gold colored perforated metal light diffuser tube that runs the length of the globe, these are most often missing. Has the original long ornate design chain and electrical cord for hanging purposes, about 13 foot total length to accommodate high ceilings. This swag chain and wiring are still in great usable condition and are perfectly fine electrically, I had no hesitation in plugging it in and testing it out. An inline rotary switch provides the on/off control.

Glass globe measures about 10 inches in diameter and 14 or so inches in length, the overall height with the top and bottom metal fitters is about 26-28 or so inches, its a big heavy light for sure!! This light has so many different looks, it depends on the lighting in where it is placed. The low wattage bulb used during testing will not be included. This tamp will be dissembled for packing so some very minor assembly is required. Excellent overall condition and in complete working order, no damage at all to glass globe, metal fixtures and chain are fine, some oxidation, tarnish and a little finish loss in places but no damage or breaks. Obviously, these lamps are not antiques, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 60's and 70's.
