Vintage Mid Century Modern Atomic UFO Flying Saucer Hanging Lamp Light 14 Brass

This is a brass plated steel lamp that has a space age vintage mid-century modern design. I bought this 20+ years ago. The shade is an opaque fiberglass.

It has a socket for one bulb. This lamp is counter-weighted and can extend up and down by pulling or pushing on the ring. It has a 120 VAC woven cord. The lamp turns on and off with the switch like it is supposed to.

There is some wear on some of the brass plating like the pull ring. Also a bit of light fraying of the cord at the strain relief going into the lamp housing.
